'LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens' released earlier this year for PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, Vita, 3DS, PS3 and Xbox 360. PlayStation owners might be the only gamers that can play this free DLC for now, but everyone can watch this brand new trailer for the level pack. Presumably it will come to other consoles then. While this DLC is exclusive to PlayStation consoles, it should be noted that a disclaimer on the box-art reveals that the 'Phantom Limb Level Pack' exclusivity ends November 7, 2016.
The Phantom Limb Level Pack extends the LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens experience, continuing the story from the Trouble Over Taul Level - one of the New Adventures set in the time leading up to the film - after C-3PO’s ship crash lands on the barren planet of Taul, allowing players to discover the thrilling events that led to his new red arm and reunion with the Resistance. Players will also unlock full-size and microfighter versions of a new vehicle called the CR90 Corvette. These characters include the many droids that C-3PO meets on the mysterious planet including O-MR1, a robot that was made by the villainous First Order. Other characters include the following: 2MED2, CO-34, GNK-189, MSE-Y, and Taul versions of C-3PO, O-MR1, PZ-99 and VL-44. Besides the standalone story, the level pack will also unlock several characters for play in the game's Free Play mode. Called 'The Phantom Limb Level Pack,' the new add-on explores what happened to C-3PO after his ship crashed on the planet of Taul, and how the droid ended up with the red arm he sports in the main game. The second timed exclusive DLC for ' LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens' is available now for PS4 and PS3 owners (download it here).
